Hopefully, the product activation accepts the original license without modifying it to prevent downgrade to LTSB. Is that possible at no additional cost?
I was told ther is a kms license server necessary and otherwise no upgrade possible. Is that correct? The short answer is no, you cannot upgrade from Win IoT to because it requires a new license key. This does make sense as Windows support would include an additional couple of years. I have been communicating with Dell's CCC team and there may be an option available for ProSupport customers in the future if demand is large; however, there is no option at this time.
